Low-cal LIDL products
Grocery shopping can be hell when you're burning from the inside, it becomes the heaviest thing on your to-do list and dread every minute of it. I understand how difficult it can be, over time i became more comfortable, mostly by knowing what i wantet to do buy, so today i present to you a list of low-calorie products available at Lidl (UK or EU):
π₯ Low-Calorie Dairy & High-Protein Options
-Milbona 0% Fat Quark (Fresh Cheese) \~68 kcal per 100g: high in protein (\~12.6g), no fat, low sugar. Great for breakfast or dessert.
-Milbona Skyr Yogurt\~60–70 kcal per 100g: high-protein Icelandic-style yogurt. Fat-free, no added sugar, very filfilling in the morning.
-Kefir or Natural Greek Yogurt (Organic Range): low in calories and sugar, high in probiotics and protein.
π₯ Healthy Grains & Snacks
-Rye Crispbread (Tastino)\~350 kcal per 100g (around 35–45 kcal per slice): made with whole grain rye flour and salt. No added sugar or oils.
-Organic Whole Rolled Oats\~360 kcal per 100g: high in fiber and complex carbs. Keeps you full longer.
-Edamame (Frozen or Roasted)\~120 kcal per 100g High in plant protein and fiber, very filling and low-fat.
- Mixed Raw Nuts or Dried Fruits (Alesto Range): check for "no added salt or sugar" labels. Great in small portions.
π₯ Protein & Plant-Based Meals
- Organic Natural Tofu\~70–100 kcal per 100g: minimal ingredients: soybeans, coagulant, salt. Great for stir-fries or grilling.
- Vegetable Loaf (Organic, with Mushrooms & Peppers): low-calorie, plant-based, and filling. Great for lunch or dinner with salad.
- Canned Lentils\~90 kcal per 100g (drained): great source of protein, iron, and fiber. Perfext to add to cold salads or stews.
π¨ Light Ice Cream & Desserts
- High Protein Ice Cream Bars (Chocolate or Almond)\~116–126 kcal per bar: high protein, lower fat, satisfying sweet treat.
- Gelatelli Lime-Lemon Sorbet Ice Pops\~80 kcal per 100g: refreshing and low in fat, ideal for looking "normal".
- Hurricane Milk Ice Lollies\~77 kcal per lolly: one of the lowest-calorie milk-based ice creams at Lidl.
- Gelatelli Fruit Dream\~76 kcal per popsicle: creamy and fruity, i'm literally obsessed.
- Sol & Mar Lemon or Orange Sorbet\~102–122 kcal per serving (130–150 ml): light and fruity. Avoids dairy and is often lower in fat.
π Frozen Fruits and Veggies
- Frozen or Steamable Veggies (green beans, courgette, mushrooms)\~12–20 kcal per 100g: high volume, fiber-rich, and ideal for weight control.
Obviously i'm skipping the fresh fruit, self-explanatory.
How to Find Low-Calorie Items at Lidl
1.- Look for Nutri‑Score A or B labels on packaging, these usually indicate good nutritional quality.
2.- Check the nutrition label per 100g/ml for:
♡ Low calories (typically under 100 kcal/100g).
♡ Low saturated fat, sugar and salt.
♡ High fiber or protein content.

Why did this take me so long??? Kinda cause i got bored after checking the second item when i realized "holy shit i gotta do this with every item?", i skipped a bunch of products don't hate me but keep in mind there's hundreds and my adhd can't deal with all that. But i gave you a good variety with higher and lower cals, cause i didn’t want to give you just the 2 items i always buy (Gelatelli Fruit Dream popsicles and Alesto dates).
