Meals to survive Ana

 I'm not gonna lie to you, food is necessary, if you cut down all calories you will starve yourself to death. That's why over the last week I've been collecting my favorite recipes to make when I feel like every bite adds a pound. My qualifications? None, just chronically online for 14 years and I'm a chef's assistant (ironic), so maybe I don't know the real dieting stuff, but I do know how to make anorexia taste good.


LIQUIDS:

     ♡ Detox water: 1 spoon of apple cider vinegar, a slice of lemon (or a good squeeze), water and cinnamon (optional). Might taste like hell at first, but it goes down smoother than you'd expect, when warmed it stops craving and when iced I debloat like crazy, choose your poison.

     ♡ Iron smoothie: two handfulls of spinach, two slices of pineapple, half a cucumber, ice and lemon juice. Blend until smoother than your rocky childhood and enjoy. If you want a lighter consistence add a but of water little by little.

     ♡ Cocoa frostie: 3/4 of milk (any kind), 1tsp of vanilla extract, 2 spoons of cocoa powder, ice and a banana. One of my all time favorites, god bless the angel that made this recipe i've been making it for years.

SOLIDS:

     ♡ Pancakes (~14cal per pancake): 1/4 cup of flour, 1/4 of milk, 1 egg (extra points if it's just the egg white), 1 tbsp of baking powder and 1 tbsp of cinnamon. They are great for tricking your parents you're making a greasy breakfast...i'm just saying...

     ♡ Mug cake (~50 cal): 1tbsp of flour, 1tbsp of stevia or sugar, ½ tsp of baking powder, 1 tbsp of cocoa powder and 1 tbsp of milk. Put in a heat safe mug and place in the microwave for 3 minutes, please go minute by minute, checking with a knife the consistency. Lil tip, the bottom edges tend to harden when over cooked, so don't aim for a clean knife, it's better when slightly smudged. 


That's all i got to re-try this week, but i'll be collecting more over the next few months to make a bigger bundle of great recipes for angels. I wish i could make more, but as you can imagine...i don't eat much, but when i do i like it to taste good.
