Sleepover 101

 We've all been there, eyes and ears everywhere, can't skip the snack and can't purge after. A few days ago i went over to my friends and remembered how difficult it was to be ana active and social...So, this are the tricks i came up with to survive your next sleepover, both when being invited and hosting, without ruining your cal restriction:

1. Control the snacks:

     ♡ Make or buy healthy snacks, like bringing diet soda because "there was no regular left" or make fruit salad and cut them in fun shapes, make a smoothie, or juice popsicle, choose your poison, but the worst part of sleepovers with Ana it's not controlling your cals, so re-take it and bring your victim to the dark side.

     ♡ Offer to serve other people's plate and make sure there's not much left for you.

2. Use distractions:

     ♡ "Oh my god i love your pj! Where did you get it?"

     ♡ "I think my pizza is burnt under, are yours ok?" 

Redirect the attention into other things, points if it's something they need to look at, so they don't look at your plate.

3. Lights off:

     ♡ Turn off or dim the lights for a movie, or just because of the vibes. With the lights down it's harder to see your plate, and if they're starring at the TV you can get away with hiding food and fake eating.

4. Clean up:

     ♡ Offer to wash the plates, to organize the skincare, w.h.a.t.e.v.e.r, but as long as you're busy they won't question why all you've had was a diet coke.

5. Eat fast or slowly:

     ♡ Finish your food quickly, don't give them time to see how little you've actually eaten, plus you can always throw in the "Oh my, i was so hungry" right after.

     ♡ Or eat so slowly they’re wishing you finish, so you can just say you're full. Most times they don't give a shit they just wanna move to the next activity.

6. Keep your mouth busy:

     ♡ Drink in hand, with a straw. Diet soda, juice, water, it doesn't matter, just keep reaching for it everytime you wanna eat

     ♡ Smoothies, they tend to be pretty filling, and low carb when home-made. Nobody is surprised you got full with one, and you won't need to eat, so any time you reach for food you know you want it not need it.

7. Fake pain:

     ♡ Headache, tummyache, teeth, jaw, anything!! Don't go too far, or they might suggest you to go back home.

8. Allergies:

     ♡ Suddenly you're allergic to that food, yeah last time it made you sick, remember? Avoid food like it will kill you.

9. You ate before:

     ♡ "My mom made have an apple before i came"

     ♡ "I just had a really big lunch, can't think of food right now"

10. Picky eater:

     ♡ Not to the point of being annoying, but the texture of those chips is weird now, you had them last week? Well now you don’t like them, stay on that position and don't let them back you down.

11. Make the food disappear:

     ♡ Hand a secret bite to the dog.

     ♡ Sneak some into a napkin.

     ♡ Put some of it back in the pot.

12. Leave the room:

     ♡ Go to the bathroom to throw some food or just to kill time. 

     ♡ Go for more drinks or foods and say you had some on the way back.

      Important call you can't ignore.

     ♡ Go out for a smoke (+18).

14. Leave wrappers open:

     ♡ Wait a while before throwing away the wrappers, keep them somewhat close so they think you finished them.

15. Eating games:

     ♡ Tricky, but as a "fun" game it can pass, eat blindfolded with a timer, let's see who can do it better...but oh my....you are so bad at this game you barely ate...

16. Share:

     ♡ "Girl, this hotdog is so good, want a bite?"

      "I'm almost full, do someone want it?"

17. Spill:

     ♡ Also seen in "Movies 101" spilling and acting distraught is a key element to skipping cals. Spill a bit, not too much, just enough to seem like your plate isn’t untouched, try to pick up what didn't touch the floor, so it doesn't seem you actually feel bad and didn't mean to; and offer to clean up.

Guess what? We're done for today for the second time around, but i'm already working on tomorrow's blog, cause i'm insane. I surprise myself with how fast i write sometimes...Also! I went grocery shopping and got so frustated with the noises; hell is a grocery store.
